Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
Co-owned by a Doctor & and an Engineer turned Digital Marketeer, the Footloose crew share 3 things in common – passion for travel, an unending appetite for good food and dancing on cheesy 90’s songs 🙂
I am 31, a hardcore Mumbaiite and currently working as a Digital Marketing Manager with a travel firm in Delhi, India.
In 2010, I rode pillion from Delhi to the world’s highest motorable pass ‘Khardungla’ in Leh on a Royal Enfield Standard 350, rode pillion to the India-Nepal border on a weekend, danced on the sands of Goa in monsoons, sat mesmerized and day dreamed of the romance between Shahjehan and Mumtaz Mahal in front of the Taj Mahal. I’ve had my taste buds explode after eating the sweets in Mathura, busted my knee after walking to Vaishno Devi, trekked along the secluded tracks in Dharamshala and felt peace for the first time at the Golden temple.
I’ve driven the 36 hair pin curves of Ooty, tasted homemade fruit wines and spicy pepper pork in Coorg and experienced a winter in a British summer holiday home. I’ve read a book till the sun went down on the beaches of Gokarna and went snorkelling and scuba diving in the gorgeous green waters of the Andaman & Nicobar islands. Most recently, Doc & me went on the treacherous yet mesmerizing Chadar trek; We walked for hours on the frozen Zanskar and returned humbled by the residents of Ladakh.
